We need to have a talk, beloved Child of mine. You will either have to learn to put up with being set down for a few minutes or learn to like the sling. The beautiful sling I made, just for you... out of the cute owl fabric... lined in bright happy orange...with a French felled seam... on a curve no less! Really, you'll like it! Believe me!
We tried the sling again this morning. I decided that maybe if I could manage to feed her in it, she would associate it with nice, comforting things. Well, after some fiddling and lots of squirming and MUCH screaming, we got into kind of a good position. The problem is unless I hold her head and myself I can either keep at the right height to nurse, or keep her from being smothered... not ideal. Maybe I should shorten the sling an inch or two. We're giving it a rest for the moment so she can finish eating in peace.
