Lorelei's First Thanksgiving

For Lorelei's first Thanksgiving, we traveled to Devon, PA, to celebrate with Andrew's mom and step-dad Wendy and Richard at the club house in their new condo. They threw a fabulous party with 24 guests and two turkeys! It was a potluck so everyone brought their best dish and we had a real feast. :-)

Richard's daughter's birthday was near the day so we finished the evening by singing Happy Birthday and having dessert. Lorelei did really well with all the people and especially liked the singing. :-)

By the end of the evening she was completely zonked and slept most of the way back to my parent's house where we were staying.

The next evening my folks and Andrew and Lorelei and I went to Wendy and Richard's condo for leftovers. There we took the obligatory" baby chomping on turkey leg" picture. :-)

Two of Richard and Wendy's other grand kids were spending the night and Lorelei bonded with them almost immediately. :-)  I was also very pleased to get this fabulous picture of her and Tutu Wendy snuggling on the couch.

And this one of Lorelei and my dad.

Previously, Lorelei had been very shy and hesitant in new situations, but she handled the crowd pretty well and did very well at Tutus' the next night.
Happy Thanksgiving Baby Bear.
